You’re probably here because you know me, or you know someone who knows me. I may have DJed your wedding or party, lead worship at church, or provided sound mixing or something like that. Moving forward, I am focusing my work on something more simple: helping content creators make better work.
[featured-image single_newwindow=“false”]I love ‘tech’ stuff, but it’s a means to a more important end: CONTENT.[/featured-image]
We live in a culture that requires businesses to produce content constantly. Some of it is OK but a lot of it is forced and useless. (It wastes your time!) I’m on a crusade to see more content honor your ability to THINK. That doesn’t mean it has to be complicated. It just has to value the reader, listener, watcher, or user.
English Degree and Work with Quality Communications Group, Inc.
I graduated Towson University with a fancy degree in English. It was a lot of fun. During my time there, I met Harvey Lillywhite and started working with his company Quality Communications Group. In addition to launching the QCG website, I typeset Mastering Workplace Writing and co-wrote/designed Mindful Writing at Work, both published by QCG Press.
Helping others think and create or ‘ship’ content is my “sweet spot.” Since I know the tech side of getting content “live,” that’s not a hurdle for me. It’s easier than ever to make a website or have someone maintain a Facebook page. So easy, I will encourage you to do it yourself. (Way cheaper!) What’s hard is creating “real content” with depth, meaning, evidence, and people-focused goodness.
Let’s start with a conversation
I do my work as a free agent and do not take on a lot of projects. If you create content for work, my website is designed to start a conversation with you. Before we work together, I’d love to see you engaged in some of the articles written here. Please post a comment before you reach out to me. My email is [email protected].
